CMA 자격증이란

1. 소개

 미국 관리회계사협회(IMA: Institute of Management Accountants)에서 주관하고 있으며, Mini-MBA라고 할 정도로 방대한 경영, 경제학을 다루코 있는 CMA(certified management accountant)과정은 예산편성, 차이분석, 업적평가로 이루어지는 기업 경영의 Process안에서 Accounting 정보를 활용하여 기업의 경영의사결정을 하는데 초점을 맞추고 있다. 장단기 의사결정 및 기업재무와 관련한 깊이 있는 정보와 지식을 다루고 있기 때문에 기업의 실무자들에게는 꼭 필요한 학습과정이다.

3. 시험과목

1) Part1 (4hours / 100 Multiple Choices / 2 Essays)

  (1) Financial Planning, Performance, and Analytics

     가) Section A: External Financial Reporting Decisions (15%)

     나) Section B: Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting (20%)

     다) Section C: Performance Management (20%)

     라) Section D: Cost Management (15%)

     마) Section E: Internal Controls (15%)

     바) Section F: Technology and Analytics (15%)

 2) Part2 (4hours / 100 Multiple Choices / 2 Essays)

  (1) Strategic Financial Management 

     가) Section A: Financial Statement Analysis (20%)

     나) Section B:Corporate Finance (20%)

     다) Section C: Decision Analysis (25%)

     라) Section D: Risk Management (10%)

     마) Section E: Investment Decisions (10%)

     바) Section F: Professional Ethics (15%)

 

4. 응시자격

1) 학사 학위 소지자

2) 재학생 응시 가능. 단, 대학 졸업 후 졸업 증명서를 시험주관 기관인 ICMA에 송부

 

5. 응시절차

1) IMA 회원가입 -> 등록 Fee 지불($250) -> 시험신청($415 per part) -> Authorization Letter 수령 -> 시험일정확인 -> 시험

 

6. 응시시기

1) 1/2월, 5/6월, 9/10월 Test Windows기간 (2020년은 7월 포함(extended))

2) 과목별 시험 합격 유효기간: 3년

3) 1년에 3회응시가능(과목별)

4) 동일 Test Window에 Part별로 1회씩 응시가능
